Hi all, I hope someone would be able to help please.

I installed a new drive back in October to replace a faulty one and yesterday it was showing a red x with a read error. Did a SMART test and all showed as ok, so did a rebuild.

come back home today to see the same drive with the same error.

 

I have attached the log files if this is of assistance.

 

not sure if I will have to buy another drive or if I could send this back or maybe there isn't any actual fault.

    The SMART looks Ok but there are a number of CRC errors reported on one of the drives.    These are normally issues with the cabling rather than the drive itself.

    Thanks. it is drive 3 giving the error, serial number ending in VDJNUC
