Unraid emailed me error about disk read errors on Parity drive. Help?

Featured Replies

Unraid emails me status, and I just got an email telling me there were read errors on a disk:

Event: unRAID array errors
Subject: Warning [TOWER] - array has errors
Description: Array has 1 disk with read errors
Importance: warning

Parity disk - WDC_WD60EFRX-68MYMN1_WD-WX81D6550NP3 (sde) (errors 512)

I looked up in the WebUI which disk it was, and it's the parity drive that matches the serial number.

I clicked on the disk and there are no SMART errors.  I did just install 6.5.1 yesterday if that's relevant, and when I rebooted, I was told there was an unclean shutdown by Fix Uncommon Problems plugin.

I've attached my diagnostics and SMART report, the latter which doesn't indicate anything wrong.

How do I dig into this more to see if I need to replace the drive?

Disk is showing some issues, run an extended test, but even if it passes start planing to replace it, as you going to need to sooner or later.

If you mean the SMART extended test, I ran it without errors.

Ill go go shopping for a new drive.
