May 19, 20188 yr I have a windows 10 VM running great. However once i boot the VM the printer works fine, then after a white the printer doesnt work and the VM is unable to see the printer. It must happen when the printer goes offline or into power saving mode,. I then need to edit the config file of the VM in unraid GUI and save it then boot the VM and it works again for a short period.

Install the libvirt hot plug plugin and you won't need to edit the config file. You can just reattach the printer to any running VM
