What are people thoughts on each processor.  CPU.Benchmark has them relatively scored closely to about 18k.

What other benchmarks should I be looking at between these two cpus?

    One advantage is the 7820x only has 28 pcie lanes while the AMD chip has 60+4 so there is plenty bandwidth to leverage with future growth

    The turbo boost for CPU frequency won't work correctly with Threadripper so you will have to OC to reach 3.4 GHz + ..

    Don't know about Intel though ..
