May 23, 20188 yr Hey, I recently switched to Coffee Lake i5 8600T and now it seems I can't hardware transcode in Plex. https://ark.intel.com/products/129938/ Can't start the docker because ""/dev/dri" no such file or location" I also get this error when booting up unraid. my go file: modprobe i915 chown -R nobody:users /dev/dri chmod -R 777 /dev/dri and extra parameters in Plex docker --device /dev/dri:/dev/dri
May 23, 20188 yr We're working on the unRAID 6.6.0-rc with an upgraded linux kernel which contains support for Coffee Lake iGPU. Might be ready in a week or so.

Several unRAID users have Plex hardware transcoding working now with Coffee Lake chips. You need to modify syslinux.cfg and enable alpha support. label unRAID OS menu default kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot i915.alpha_support=1 See this discussion: Edited May 23, 20188 yr by Hoopster

August 20, 20187 yr Hi So I followed all the recommendations and I finally got it working... I was able to use hardware while transcoding on my i3-8100 then it seems after I upgraded the plex server app it doesnt work anymore. I tried removing the docker app and reinstalling it to no avail. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
