1 core on my unraid box has been at 100% for 3 weeks and I have no idea how to shutdown the process using the core.

 

The process is
/machine/qemu-1-Ubuntu.libvirt-qemu

 

 

Any help would be greatly appriciated

Before anyone can help, perhaps you can explain your mathematics ... May 24th minus May 18th is 3 Weeks?!?

Assuming the PID (6646) doesn't change you can run this from the console or a ssh session:

kill 6646

 

If that doesn't do anything after a minute or two (not sure if it's a Ubuntu VM that's actually running) you can run:

kill -9 6646

What was the solution? If someone searches on google and finds this thread that says solved, but there is no solution posted, that's not very nice.
