Accessing my Windows VM From the Physical Server

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm still pretty green to unRAID, and have just successfully set up a Windows 10 VM with GPU passthrough.

I would like to be able to plug a screen and peripherals into my unRAID server and use the Windows 10 VM, however, there is no option to VNC into the VM anymore as I have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 set as graphics card opposed to VNC.

Maybe there is a much simpler way for me to access the Windows 10 VM on the actual physical server? For now, I am just using Splashtop to access the VM from my desktop.

If I boot into the unRAID GUI on the physical system (with hardware passed through), how can I actually access and use the VM given that the VNC option is no longer there?

?? If you are using hardware passthrough, then your VM should show up on the monitor plugged in to the passed through graphics card, and controlled using the passed through keyboard and mouse. Your question doesn't make sense to me.

Your response makes complete sense to me, thank you. I thought that it would've shown the unRAID GUI for some reason - but that makes sense.
