Leonardo Takahata
Hello guys, this is my third topic, and I'm happy with this community! For now I reach all my goals with your tips! Ok. Now I have the following problem (I've made my homework - google, youtube, etc): Once I'm using an unRAID through USB, how can I upload my media files to the respective PLEX library folders? It's weird go to my laptop, copy a movie to a USB, remove the USB, go to the unRAID hardware, plug the USB, comeback to the laptop and make the transfer. What about a lot of 2Gb files!!!! I would like to just upload a media file to the unRAID selected folder... Is this possible? I think that by logic, yes, but how can I do it? Can anyone help me? Quote Link to comment
ken-ji
Hi, I don't understand why you can't or aren't using the user shares over SMB or NFS? If you're media is stored in /mnt/user/Media you should be able to upload to the \\TOWER\Media SMB share (or alternatively tower:/mnt/user/Media NFS share) 1 Quote Link to comment
pwm
Maybe the worlds only non-networked NAS? So a SAS - Sneakernet Accessed Storage. Quote Link to comment
ken-ji
you can still point to point network unraid to your laptop and upload the files to unRAID you can also opt to use a much larger USB HDD (1TB?) so you can move more with less overhead. Quote Link to comment
Leonardo Takahata
Thanks Ken-ji and pwm. What about use ownCloud on unRAID, and make available the destination folder? Quote Link to comment
