I want to add Surveillance/NVR capabilities to my unRaid server. I have already tested Unifi Video Docker and 4 cameras very successfully, but recording to my array of NAS drives. I would like to add a couple of surveillance specific drives but should I just add them to the array or would it be better to use them as unassigned drives?

 

Appreciate any input... Really diggn unRaid!!

    I would just use them unassigned unless you intend to archive the data long term.
