crazym0ng0
Hey! I have all my shares set to use cache: Yes. Still, the shares domains and system do not move of the cache when the mover is activated, after stopping all VMs. I tried to set the shares to different cache settings and back, since it seemed to help in other threads. However, doing this didn't help in my case. Which logs/additional info do you guys need to help me? Any help is very appreciated. crazym0ng0 Quote Link to comment
trurl
Why would you want domains and system to move off cache? Set them to cache-prefer and let them stay on cache where they belong. Quote Link to comment
crazym0ng0
Because i want to have them save in the case of the cache drive failing, at least the domains share. So the better way would be to back them up instead of moving them? Quote Link to comment

People typically want these to stay on cache so they won't have their performance impacted by parity updating, and so they won't keep parity and array disks spunup. Quote Link to comment
pwm
The alternative is to use mirrored SSD as cache. Then you have device redundancy for the data on the cache. Quote Link to comment
crazym0ng0
I see. Thank you very much! Quote Link to comment
