ANDERK Posted June 13, 2018 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Any help please. My UPS CyberPower model LX1500GU keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to the USB port on my server. ANDERK Posted June 13, 2018 Author Share Posted June 13, 2018 I did switch USB ports on the server. What settings do you think I could change in the BIOS that might help? I am also using a new USB cable and I have also tried using another USB cable to make sure it was not the cable itself. That's it so far. Thanks Quote Link to comment

Whatever settings effect the USB modes and speeds. Different BIOS have different options available, you'll have to poke around in yours and see what's available and what they do. Wouldn't hurt to try an add in PCIE USB card if you have one laying around or can pick one up cheap to try. Quote Link to comment
uldise Posted June 13, 2018 Share Posted June 13, 2018 i have one APC Smart Ups 750 that starts USB disconnection dance when it is under heavy use on battery. i think it's because of high temperature, this ups have no fan inside.. so maybe you have a similar issue? Quote Link to comment
