schford
HI guys, I want to be able to run this - https://github.com/koochyrat/comfort2 To be able to interface my alarm system with the Home Assistant docker, is running a VM the best way to do this or is the docker I can use? Assuming it is a VM could someone point me in the right direction? Many thanks in advance! Stuart Quote Link to comment
DZMM
not sure about the paho-mqtt bit - I use an MQTT docker fine with HA for other integrations. Otherwise, install nerd tools/pack to get python support in unraid and then use the User Scripts plugin to run scripts. Quote Link to comment
schford
Thanks - in the end I ended up installing, AppDaemon - they I used the new console feature to install paho-mqtt then I just set the python script to run. Quote Link to comment
