August 22, 201015 yr Hi, I'm very new to unRAID, just built a test box with IDE disks so far. I'm wondering how I will be notified, or if I will be notified, when a disk goes bad, errors or completely fails? Thanks D
August 22, 201015 yr Straight out of the box, you won't be notified except by checking the menu. In which case you would see a red ball. You might want to check out http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=2470.0 which is an add-on and you configure it to send you e-mail alerts as needed/wanted. You might also want to check out unMENU as it adds quite a bit help in administration and reporting http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=5568.0
