coolspot
I was moving some folders around using SMB and I saw the following error popup in my logs: Jun 24 13:05:08 nasserv move: error: move, 396: No such file or directory (2): lstat: /mnt/cache/video/Movies/Mary Poppins (1964)/Mary.Poppins.1964.1080p.BluRay.REMUX.AVC.DTS-HD.HR.5.1-FantasY.mkv Jun 24 13:05:08 nasserv move: error: move, 396: No such file or directory (2): lstat: /mnt/cache/video/Movies/Mary Poppins (1964) Is this just a conflict between mover and SMB, or is there an underlying error? My data seems intact. No other errors in the diagnostic logs. Thanks. nasserv-diagnostics-20180624-1418.zip Quote Link to comment
Squid
You've got mover running every hour, so if you catch things right and move the particular folder around after mover has already cataloged it, then it will probably give that error you're seeing. Assuming of course that Mary Poppins still exists and hasn't floated away on her umbrella.. Quote Link to comment
coolspot
Yeah, Mary flew from my movies folder into the children's movie folder. This is what I thought, that the move process and manual SMB move conflicted with each other. Probably good for LimeTech in future releases to lower the priority of the warning (or rewrite the message) so that it doesn't look so serious? @Squid Thanks for the reply. Quote Link to comment
