"Hardware error" - what am I looking for?

Featured Replies

I keep getting hardware error warnings. Fix Common Problems tells me to make diagnostics logs.

But I have no idea what to look for in the logs.

Help please..

What I could fint in syslog.txt

Tells me nothing.

It's the latest available.

Jul 5 17:56:17 Tower root: Fix Common Problems: Error: Machine Check Events detected on your server
Jul 5 17:56:17 Tower root: mcelog not installed

You don't have mcelog checked off to be installed in NerdPack.  The mce does happen very early, so mcelog may not be able to discern any more info about it however.

Best that info available however is that the mce happened while accessing bank 4 of your memory.

Thanks, seems I missed enabling mcelog.

I've attached new logs. Can you anything more of importance?
