Safely shutting down server to power off

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if its just me getting all confused - but i can't seem to see a way to shutdown the server to let me power it off.

I need to power it down to move it but so far a hours worth of searching and googling, but i've nothing to show for it.

Is it enough to stop the array then just power off the PC??

Is there a 'good' way to shutdown as i've seen a lot of mentions of shutting down 'clean' but most seem to deal with scripts.

where am i going wrong / not looking in right place.

For reference, i've installed unmenu web interface today and couldn't find details in there too :(

Push the stop button on the web interface and once the array has stopped there will be buttons to powerdown the computer.
