[SOLVED] Did my disk die?

Hi,

 

Soo, alot of write errors in my syslog but did my disk just die or is something else wrong?

Parity disk is disabled, but not reporting SMART. Probably a connection issue. Check connections, both ends, power and SATA. Reboot and post another diagnostic.

Sorry for late reply, actually left the system in the state above until just now. I know, not that smart but I trusted the data drive to not go out in this period.

 

This system is actually a recycled old pc I had lying around and I was using a very old SATA cable. Replaced it and SMART showed up again. Re-enabled the drive and now rebuilding parity.
