August 6, 20187 yr I've had my unRAID server running for about 3 months without an issue. I went onto my dash to see there was a problem that would be addressed in the "fix common problems" plug-in. So I went there and I believe it said that my unRAID OS was out of date. So, I went to the page where it directed me. There I seen two different text boxes that said unRAID Lime tech. The top one had a certain OS number and said stable, and the bottom one had a different number and to the right of it in a clickable box said "restore". Idiotically instead of trying to understand the context of what i was about to click on, I just click "restore". So then it tells me the server needs to reboot in order for the settings to take effect, without a second thought i proceed to click the text box that says reboot. So then it reboots but then i notice it is taking a long time. So I try to logon to my dashboard via my internet browser and i notice that it says, "This site can not be reached" and says "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" below that. I then go to windows explorer and notice my server is is not listed under network neither. I go to my terminal and see that it says something about "end trace" on the bottom. I blow it off and Unwittingly before saving a syslog I do a dirty shut down via the power button physically on my server tower and try to bring the server back up by rebooting using that same physical button. That is where i last left my server. The keyboard was working in the past but is not working now. I tried switching usb ports but to no avail. The only other keyboards I have are a corsair K95 platinum and another wireless logitech keyboard with a dongle. I have no PS/2 keyboards. So I am currently unable to retrieve a syslog, but i have attached a screenshot from a few moments ago. Specs are as follows: 224-7547 : Inspiron 580 317-3206 : Inspiron 580, Intel Core i5-75 0 processor(8MB Cache, 2.66GH z) 330-8652 : Dell USB Optical Mouse MS111 317-5082 : 6GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz - 3x 2GB 342-0219 : Dell 19 in 1 Media Card Reader 320-8899 : AMD Radeon 5450 (1GB) 330-3620 : Dell USB Entry Keyboard Parity: 3TB Western Digital Disk1: 2TB western Digital unRAID Pro on silicon power 16gb hard drive Alot of mistakes were made today, thanks in advance for taking time to read and help.
