Finding errors after replacing some drives

Yes, perfectly fine, just be careful with the parity slot, make sure old parity is assigned there, since any data disk assigned as parity by mistake will lose all data on array start.

Either way, if you're going to reassign most disks not much point, but it will at least keep parity assigned in the correct slot.

Everything checks out and new drives are in, parity is great and all seems right with the world (fingers crossed)...lol.

And yes I checked all drives for anything even close to an error and re-enabled all the warning systems 

I even have three new drives coming to replace the even slightly older drives that are showing age 

 

Now that that is all out of the way, how and what do I do to checksum my server, so I can tell what files are corrupted in the future if it happens again?

What, if anything special, do I have to do to uprade to 6.6, as i am already at 6.5

You can use the Dynamix File Integrity plugin.

Nothing special, do the upgrade using the GUI, so it can delete an old dynamix plugin that might still exist.
