Corsair 430W PSU - $29.99 after MIR

Featured Replies

saw this shell shocker as well ... I find it interesting that they discontinued the 400w which had 30A on the 12v whereas this has 30 more watts yet only 28A on the 12V ... the 3 and 5.5 appear to be the same for both

That is same impression i got when saw this new PSU from Corsair.

looks like we are paying same for less. Inflation? :D

Yeah, that is disappointing.  Still, the 2A difference only drops the capacity by one green drive.

Actually, taking closer look, this one has only 2 years warranty, the old 400CX has 3 years and

450VX has 5 years. I guess it is inflation or corporation is beefing up profit? :-)

Raj...opened the box and you were right again.  A relief for me, although the CX400W had 6 connections.  I'll need a SATA power splitter for my 6 drive setup.

Cable Configuration for the CX430W

ATX 24 pin & 20 pin compatible (1)

EPS/ATX12V 8-4 pin (1)

SATA (2/cable) (4)

4 pin Peripheral (4)

PCIe (1)
