Easiest way to download files remotely with openVPN?

Hey all, I use openVPN regularly to remotely check the server/change settings/add downloads etc. I just cannot figure out how to download a file that I have on the server to my remote computer. Are there any simple ways to do this? Thanks.

    So for instance, I can copy the file from Krusader and paste it onto the remote PC’s desktop?

    I was talking about using Windows Explorer.  Navigate to \\ip_address\sharename  Copy the file.  Paste on desktop.
