Question on pfSense VM - unRAID link

Featured Replies

I installed pfSense VM which is working nice. My only problem is that LAN cannot access to unRAID unless unRAID NIC is connected to switch separately.

unRAID Network Info:

eth0: On board NIC, connected to switch, Enable bridging:Yes, Bridging members of br0:eth0,  IP: 192.168.1.100 (static), Gateway: 192.168.1.1 This is the port unRAID is using.

eth1: On board NIC, inactive

pfSense Network Info:

eth2: on PCIe card, passthrough to pfSense. WAN (Public IP)

eth3: on PCIe card, passthrough to pfSense. LAN (192.168.1.1)

My question is:

Do I have to connect eth0 to the switch to make unRAID accessible on LAN, or is there a better method doing it? As unRAID and pfSense are both on the same subnet, why unRAID cannot be pinged on LAN.

I would appreciate any help.
