August 24, 20187 yr About a week or so ago I noticed one of my older 2tb drives had 2 pending sectors on it. So I decided I needed to replace it. So I ordered a new 4tb drive. I've been using unraid for about 9-10 years and some of my drives are in the old reiserfs filing system. I thought this would be a good time to move all my drives to XFS. While I was waiting on my new drive to arrive my server started locking up. I never really figured out exactly why, but this resulted in a few hard shutdowns. When I would do a parity correction it would show 3-4 errors. I would run it again and the same thing. Finally I was able to get a parity check with 0 errors after cleaning up a few things suggested by a user here. Well this morning I removed my parity drive (since I only have 6 sata slots) and installed my new 4tb in disk 5 and wanted to clone disk 3. I was following the directions on the wiki using the rsync command. All appeared to be going smooth until I started getting read errors on disk 3. Disk 3 wasn't even the drive I had intended on replacing. It was a 4tb drive that was still in reiserfs so I started with it and was going to do the older tb drive later. Now I don't know what to do, the rsync command is still running as I type this. I assume all of the content is being cloned to my new drive since parity was valid? Do I just let it continue? Any guidance would be appreciated. I have attached my diagnostics. Thanks! tower-diagnostics-20180824-0850.zip
