August 25, 20187 yr I am trying to get a file from the internet via torrent. The only VPN service I have is torguard which as I understand it is not useable on unraid (Has anyone been able to set that up?). Anyways I figured I could just download the file directly to my array via firefox and my real-debrid service but once I click download it starts and immediately freezes the download. I also tried transferring from my desktop to my array using fast copy but the speed was 0.2mbps transfer so I think I have something very wrong in my setup in the tower. Does this sound like an issue any of you have run into? Thanks!

Lol, not retro. This is my router from verizon i use: mi424wr I had some warnings from your program I fixed... looks like I wasnt using my ssd cache disk etc. Not sure if that will help. That being said.... what above is the bad part. This is my first foray into home networking/NAS

Reset router and I will begin switching out cables but... since I can download and stream fast on my desktop and all my other devices does that mean the issue is somewhere closer to my tower? I am using a switch because I only have one jack. I may just move the tower.
August 25, 20187 yr Cable to the tower, bad port on the switch, bad port on the server, far far too long a cable run, suicidal mice thinking plastic is actually ruffage, too much dust bunnies on the mobo (it does conduct electricity). Take your pick. Edited August 25, 20187 yr by Squid

Take your pick. Cool not sure what it was but I took it off of the switch and hooked it directly to the router and I am at 1000 and can transfer files. I am just fumbling around and trying to solve many issues. Thank you for helping me realize how to isolate and fix.
