[Solved ] libvirt currupt?

Featured Replies

Heya everyone,

I hope someone can help me out. So after a power outage and an Unraid crash because of it, I was not able to start my Windows VM anymore. I thought nothing of it end though that a something might have crashed somewhere. So I disabled VMs and wanted to enable them again, but couldn't. The whole thing just doesn't want to start up. I can see the libvirt image, so its still there. I moved it and created a new one - that worked and allowed me to enable VMs again. Every time I point them to the old one though I can't enable VMs.

Now my questions:

 - Is there a way to restore the old libvirt?

 - If not: is there a way to get to my windows vm?

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh I forgot: The syslog says:

"libvirt.img is in-use, cannot mount"

Never mind. Found a backup, deleted the old file, put the new one in and somehow it worked. Thought I kind of lost the backup first.
