enmesh-parisian-latest
Hey I have a music folder structured like "artist > album > songs". The top level "artist" directory has approximately 3700 folders and growing fast as I import more music. Opening the music folder using binhex-krusader or midnight commander currently takes about 4-5 mins just to list the contents of the directory. Is there a way to cache the contents or speed the listing up somehow? Quote Link to comment

enmesh-parisian-latest
Dear lord that was quick, it's like day and night. The now 4000 listing takes ~2 seconds to load, smaller directories are instant. Thanks a bunch! Here's the link for anyone else stuck with a similar problem: https://raw.github.com/bergware/dynamix/master/unRAIDv6/dynamix.cache.dirs.plg Quote Link to comment
