August 30, 20187 yr It may seem pointless to run UNRAID within UNRAID, but I have a plan to build a media/securitycam server and I wanted to use WD red drives for the media (with a parity drive) and WD purple (without a parity drive) for my security camera footage. I was thinking that I could us a HBA card (for WD red drives) on the root unraid OS and pass through 4 SATA connections to a vm of unraid (for WD purple drives). I was just wondering if this is even possible? And if this sounded crazy or if there was a better way? Thanks
