I am planning the create an 4 Gamers 1 PC build with unraid (Thanks Linus). I wonder if it would be feasible to use a Motherboard others use for mininig, like the "ASRock Mainboard H110 PRO BTC+".

As GPU i thought of 4 times "Gainward GeForce® GT 710 2GB SilentFX ". also 4 cheap USB controller cards for around 15-20 bucks a piece. To make sure the USB devices are working within a virtual machine. AS CPU 6 cores should be way enough, giving 1 CPU each VM. The games are all from 1995 - 2005 latest (yes, we are olschool ;)
Games like. C&C Generals, left4dead2, warcraft III, CS, Starcraft, flatout 2 etc should work well with that CPU Power.

 

So what you think of it?

- Intel CPU Core i7-8700 3.2 GHz

- DDR4-RAM 2400 16GB
