High Drive usage

Featured Replies

G'day All,

I recently have set up a server to take over as a Plex server and NAS for all the computers in my house, I loaded it up with 2 4TB drives, one for Parity and one for storage with the intent of adding the other 2 4TB drives from my PC into it once I had transferred the data over to the server.

I transferred roughly 2.1TB of data from my PC to my Unraid Server, however when I look at the Unraid server it states that I've used 3.1TB of the 4TB drive. does anyone know why there is a 1TB difference here? I've gone through the drive with windows explorer and can only see the 2.1 that I transferred myself

Cheers

Screenshots? Could you show us exactly what you mean? Where you are seeing the numbers you give?
