VM broke with latest update

Featured Replies

some message about qemu unexpectedly closed the monitor

I really wish things wouldn't randomly break with various updates.  I understand they need to, but a warning, or built in help to get them working again is WAAAAYYYYY better than me having to navigate the forums looking for the right forum, then the right post just to get a previously working system working again.

I can't start my VM until I resolve this, which is super annoying.

How do I fix this new issue?????

Not that I'll be the one to help, but a screen shot of the error, your VM XML's, and your diagnostics would probably be what people want.  (For what it's worth though, none of my VMs have broken on any unRaid version)

Yeah, probably true.

I'm just going to downgrade.  I don't have time to muck about with things that used to work.

Maybe I'll upgrade again in the future.

It is what it says on the tin: "Group 1 is not viable. Please ensure all devices within the IOMMU_group are bound to their vfio bus driver".

I.e. you have an IOMMU group conflict.

Given your number of posts, you should know to attach diagnostics. :D
