Drive cage fan alarm

Hi all,

 

My server is quite a few years old now - it has 3x 3x5 drive cages which had fans attached at the back. To reduce the noise I removed these (drive temps are manageable)

 

The problem is that with the fans removed, when the server powers on the cage alarm sounds (fan failure) which requires me to press a recessed button on the front of each cage to stop the alarm.

The cage looks similar to the iStar model in the forum post I have linked, but was bought in the UK and had another name (which I cannot recall)

 

Can anyone suggest how to disable the alarm without reconnecting the fans? I would prefer to not have to remove the speaker from the cage, so ideally a way to bypass this using the fan connector or similar.
