Please read the reviews, there are many complaints that Amazon's packing is poor.

There was one review that said it was worse then neweggs.

Wow, I didn't think you could get worse than 1" thick layer of bubble-wrap. I guess Amazon uses none.

I hate my EARS drive, I honestly believe it was what was giving me issues until i installed a cache drive.  Its slow as heck even with the jumper, I have been waiting to find a way to get rid of it and swap it out for something better.
