Random shared appearing since starting using of sickbeard/sabnzbd

Featured Replies

First off not 100% sure if this is in the right place so applogies if not.

I've seen a few people on here using the unraid/sickbeard/sabnzad combo and its working very well all in all.

However i have noticed i've started to get a few shared mapped for no apparent reason as i haven't added them in via unraid myself but they do show up in the unraid web config 'shares' page.

As part of the sabnzbd software, a 'TV' folder was created and theres also a folder which is the name of a download - both now have suddenly become shared out with will read/write access but i haven't a clue why?!?

I wanted to check if there is anything within unraid what would explain this behaviour?? Maybe if i have put files where i shouldn't have etc?? Both the sickbeard and sabnzbd software are running from the cache drive as /mnt/cache/.custom

thanks

Well I've tried to do a little research into this and its bordering on my own fault for not reading the manual fully. Now that i see the shares are being created based on the folder structure, i've cleaned up the files causing the new shares and i just need to post for some help over at the sabnzbd forums.

Meanwhile - now i've cleaned up the folders laying about how do i go about removing theses shares that where created from there rogue folders??
