September 23, 20187 yr Hi guys, I am using Unraid version 6.6.0 I just wanted to know if there is something wrong with y configurations. I setup an open VPN client through my ASUS RT-AC88U, I have a static IP address. I am able to connect with tunnelblick and access the webGUI. But when I tried to connect to the share files it says I am not sure if there is something that I do. I tried smb:// and cifs:// nothing works. Or do I need to add user? This is my open vpn settings in router, and i have done port forwarding too. Quote Edited September 23, 20187 yr by ashroughfool Solved

(root) How do I do so that I can access with my root user? Is there anything I should do? Edited September 23, 20187 yr by ashroughfool

Root is for GUI management and SSH only, you must either set the shares to public and use any other username besides root to access, or set up a user in unraid for secure or private share access.
