September 26, 20187 yr Hi all, I wanted to highlight a weird occurence I noticed in upgrading my Unraid instance, be it from 6.5.3 to 6.6.0 rc1, 4, or stable. Each version of 6.6.0 seems to cause the same slow boot time on my Windows/Ubuntu VMs. I noticed when spinning up my VMs that once "Tianocore" appears (unraid's spoofed boot) the VM switches to single core usage @ 100%, and this process takes anywhere from 1-5 minutes, slow Windows circle, as opposed to the regular 5-10 sec boot times. I'm passing through my VM SSDs rather than using virtual disks, so that I may boot from them if need arises, and this hasn't been a problem since. I noticed that newly created VMs on 6.6.0 also suffered this problem. Has anyone else seen these VM boot time increases? I didn't see any posts like it, but it does appear there are several hiccups with 6.6.0.
October 14, 20187 yr Author It looks like this hasn't gotten any visibility, and the issue remains. Has anyone seen that their Windows VMs take forever to boot from after updating to 6.6.0 or 6.6.1?
October 14, 20187 yr Community Expert Update to v6.6.2, if still the same issue and downgrading to v6.6.0 fixes the problem create a bug report.
