After updating to 6.6.0 my usb drive has become write protected im a total noob so if this is fixable dumb it down as much as possable please.

    Put it in your PC and let it checkdisk

    This normally means file system corruption has been detected on the flash drive.   Putting it into a PC to let Windows check/fix the issue is the normal recommended action.   If it keeps occurring with no obvious cause then it can be an early sign of impending failure of the USB drive.
