Hi,

I just upgraded to 6.5.3, rebooted system and now half my drives are missing, they are listed on the drives to select but when I choose the correct drive for their respective disk number it selects a different drive and tags it as the wrong drive. please help

Thank you

The problems appears to be the fact that various disks have exactly equal ending identifications, e.g.:

I'm betting Unraid doesn't check the complete string, and thinks theses disks are all the same, this is just one of the reasons RAID controllers are not recommended since they use the actual disk model and s/n.

Try with v6.6.1, and if the same you can create a bug report to see if LT can do something about it.

johnnie.black is right and this is likely the result of a RAID controller stepping in between the OS and the individual storage devices.  Please use a standard SATA controller (not a RAID controller) and see if you can reproduce this issue.
