Unraid wont boot on Gigabyte MD70 server MB

Featured Replies

So long story short I been running unraid on an Asus X99 board for months but I wanted to upgrade to a more powerful and also IPMI capable motherboard so I bought the gigabyte MD70  Server motherboard is a C612 Chipset Dual CPU 16 slots of ram 10 sata ports and 2 mini sas ports.  I tried updating the bios to the latest I updated the firmware of the SAS controllers believing this was the problem I also deactivated that controller to keep eliminating reason of why unraid wont complete the boot process I tried booting in safe mode but still it wont boot I dont get any error it just get stuck.  I'm also using and USB 2.0 and booting in legacy not UEFI.

Try booting using UEFI by renaming the EFI- folder to EFI (remove the dash) on the flash drive and set the boot order to #1 UEFI (Flash Drive) in your BIOS.
