October 11, 20187 yr Hello All, I recently upgraded my internet speed (Spectrum) which required me to get a new modem which is now a 2 piece unit and I moved my 'office' from one room to another in my house. After setting up everything back to normal, I cant access my server from my desktop via shortcut which was done by the Add Network Location Wizard which is how I always had it set up. Ive input the same network address info but its not connecting. The GUI is working fine looking at it from a different monitor, everything seems normal.... Did changing modems create an issue perhaps?
October 12, 20187 yr I'm not an expert, I'm just a lurker on the forums. Hopefully somebody else will help you soon. But.. Did your subnet change when they put in the new box? Try 192.168.1.xxx if you were using 192.168.0.xxx or the reverse if it was the other way round.
