Hello,

 

Hopefully, someone can answer this question.

 

I started getting this error for disk4. I run SMART both short and long tests without errors.

 

Is my disk 4 really failing? I do see some errors in logs.

    There were some read errors I think I saw in sept.. so what do you think this could be?  Cable?  i get this errors once a week or so but drive seems ok and SMART has no other errors when i run long checks.

    Read errors appear to be disk related, you can swap cables with another disk and if errors persist it's the disk, and it likely is since Reported_Uncorrect errors are a disk problem, though current SMART looks perfect.
