can´t ssh to ubuntu vm with gpu passthrough

I have made a ubuntu server vm. setting it up .. and ssh into it without problems. 
Then i shutdown the vm .. passthrough my gpu .. start again .. and now i can´t ssh to the vm. 
I conected a display to my gpu and boot up fine and i see the login. but i can´t connect a keyboard to it so i must go over ssh.
