Lots of drops under network - Intel card issue?

I see on the dashboard page under network that I have a lot of dropped packets.  Is this something to be concerned about?  I can't see any performance degradation because of these drops.   I recall seeing somewhere on the forum about this being an issue with some Intel NIC's, is this true?
