This is NOT the networked model (it is not a WDTV Live).  It also has no internal hard drive.  Therefore, you have to manually move movies over with the included external or a flash drive, and that drive has to stay plugged in the whole time.

 

I wouldn't recommend this as your primary media player, but it might make a good secondary model, maybe for a bedroom or for travel.
