I have sonarr docker cointaner with mounts:
/tv to /mnt/user/videos/tvshows/
/downloads to /mnt/user/downloads/torrent/

 

and ruTorrent cointaner with mount:
/downloads to /mnt/user/downloads/torrent/

 

In sonarr i have enebled option "Use Hardlinks instead of Copy" but it doesn't work.

Sonarr will create file with another inode.

Is it possible to use hadrlinks in this config? It is the same user share.
Please help.

It isn't possible to create hard links across file system boundaries.

So is it mono, sonarr, unraid or x issue?

 

I heard that unRAID support hardlinks in the same user share.

What do you mean by that? videos and downloads are two different user shares.

I'm new to this so correct me if i'm wrong.

I thought that I can use hardlinks anewere in /mnt/user/ directory.

Should.  And you would also have to reconfigure sonarr to use the same host path to reference both downloads and tv.

 

IE: you can't have /downloads and /tv any more.  You would need a single one called something like /media (and to make things work right for inter-container communication, ruTorrent would also have to reference /media)

 

Of course though, this means that you downloads would wind up possibly getting moved to the array, as presumably your tv share is set to use-cache no or yes

I have same problem, solet med get this right.

 

You mounted both the download and the tv folder  to /media in Sonarr?  I assume you used the same mount template for downloads in rTorrent?

So now all your data is located in the unraid share /media?

More Info:

I read this article http://lukemanning.ie/sonarr-hardlinks-unraid/ which seems to say radarr has to be set to download directly to /media as well (which means the /data share, correct?) in order for hardlinks to work.  So I would be effectively turned off my cache drive in doing this and downloading directly to the array instead.  Am I understanding this correctly?  So there seems to be no easy solution that enables us to use a cache drive?
