After editing syslinux file server won't boot

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

In an attempt to pass some audio device to my VM I tried following some instructions in this post

I followed the instructions, unfortunately, it seems like my server won't boot properly now. It gets to the "Choose boot options" mode where it shows the various Unraid boot options, but every time I press "Enter" it goes nowhere and just repeats the countdown. I did save the text of my previous syslinux file as seen in the  Main --> Flash page, but I'm not sure how best to change it or even what to change. Can I just edit that file in the hopes of making it boot properly again?

Never mind, I eventually found a .cfg file to edit which I did and returned it to its normal state, now to figure out how to pass through that audio safely.
