disteele1962 Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 I've noticed that Microsoft Word creates a temp folder in the same share as the document I'm working on when saving the document. Normally it appears then it goes. However it frequently fails to delete. If you try to delete it you can't as it's locked but leave it for a while and you then can delete it. The folder has a hidden file such as .afpDeleted2231. A search brings up several suggestions but nothing to resolve the issue. It only appears to happen with Word. It's not consistent as it only fails to delete 20% of the time but I have hundreds of the files sitting on the server. Any suggestions gratefully received. Quote Link to comment
