Hi,  I upgraded my cable modem from the SB5100 to the SB6120.  That is the only changes I have made and it wasn't even to my tower.  Now I'm trying to transfer some files over to the tower from the pc and the transfer rate jumps around from 107kb/s to 7.8MB/s.  Any idea?

 

Normally my transfer rate has been 11MB/s.

 

*edit* I'm using teracopy to transfer the files.  the transfer fails, I get a "SetEndOfFile fails, try enabling "Use system write cache" option".

I don't use a cache disc.

 

**edit 2**

Restarted the tower and now its working.
