October 24, 20187 yr Currently I am using Windows 10 Pro Bitlocker on my main PC with a TPM 2.0 module to encrypt my drives. If I were to install Unraid on that PC baremetal and run Windows 10 in a VM, would I still be able to use bitlocker on the Windows VM drives? Perhaps pass through the TPM module? I tried searching TPM on this forum but it returned 0 results. Thanks! Edited October 24, 20187 yr by dexbot

Good questions, which I'm not sure I know your answer, but I'd imagine you could run bitlocker in the VM passing through a USB drive with the key. Probably want to setup the VM first; pass-through the USB thumb drive; then enable bitlocker and test. As for TPM module, I don't know, if it has a PCI address it could might be passed -- then again would this sort of encapsulation (VM) break the built-in trust? Edited October 24, 20187 yr by Jcloud
