Just updated to 6.6.3 and have lost parity disk and disk 6. cannot start system

Featured Replies

Hi all little lazy in updating and hate updating in case stuff breaks (like this) however i have simply just updated my system from 6.6.1 to 6.6.3 and now the machine is reporting my parity and disk 6 is missing. (7 drives in that array) funnily enough both disks are 4TB WD reds and all the others are 2TB WD reds.

hmmm strange i reset the server via the GUI 3 times and nothing. my server is tucked away in the garage went out there actually powered it down and then back on and its working. Will the diagnostics still show what happened as if so would still like to post them? I have downloaded them but several files do i just host all the files? Concerned that something still is not quite right?

No, they are new after all reboots, but by the description likely the disks weren't being detected by the server, not related to the upgrade, if it happens again grab the diags before rebooting.

When posting the diags just attach the generated zipped file.
