New Lab Build, Cant see SAS Drives

Featured Replies

I have a r720 that the s110 onboard controller is only wired for 4 sata drives, but I have installed a Dell H310 6Gbps SAS HBA w/ LSI 9211-8i P20 IT Mode, off ebay, here is the link:

With the onboard card hooked up I could not even see the drives in BIOS, as I did not know this server will not support SAS drives with the s110. (and only 4 bays of 8 to boot)

Anyway, I have another server I got a killer deal on, that I couldn't pass up, and was just trying to learn how to configure everything with this guy.  I uploaded my diagnostic for someone to take a look for me.  I also have a 64 gig SSD hooked up to a spare sata port on the MB to use as a Cache, which shows up in unraid.  The 4 10k sas drives do not.  Thank you in advance.

Also to add, when I seat a sata drive in the bays, I can see it in unraid and works.  No luck either way with the SAS drives.  They are HGST 10k 900gig, model HUC109090CSS600
